EAGLE ROCK, CA - Carolyn Cross was undeterred by a game-one loss, returning to the mound in game-two to pitch a five-hit shutout and take the 4-0 win against the Tigers of Occidental.

Jamie Garcia started off the Sagehen rally in the third with a single and moved into scoring position with a steal. Alexis Garcia sent a double into right center, scoring Jamie Garcia. Alexis Garcia then scored on a single by Arianna Roach to put the Sagehens up 2-0. The Sagehens continued the rally in the fourth with a one-out triple by Lauren Boden. Boden then scored on a fielder's choice by the Tigers. A wild pitch then brought in another run for the Sagehens, who took the 4-0 lead. Cross kept the Tigers scoreless the rest of the way and P-P took a 4-0 win in game two.
