THOUSAND OAKS, CA - A strong effort by Carolyn Cross PO '13 on the mound was not enough for the Sagehens, who only managed one hit in a 2-0 loss to Cal Lutheran Saturday.

Cross pitched four innings of shut out ball before the Regals rallied in the fifth. Two singles were enough for Cal Lutheran to put a run on the board and take a 1-0 lead. In the sixth, the Regals took advantage of an infield single to push their second run across the plate. In the seventh Brianna Marcantoni PI '12 doubled to center field for P-P's only hit of the day. The Sagehens could not muster any more offense and took the 2-0 loss.
