ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Abigail Loiselle kicked off the 2023 NCAA Track and Field Championships with a stellar performance in the 10,000m on Friday night. Loiselle finished 10th overall after entering the week as the No. 18 seed, setting her personal best by over 40 seconds to move her into the No. 2 spot in all-time program history. Loiselle's time of 35:20.06 was a part of the fastest 10k race in Division III and sets Loiselle up well for a strong showing in Saturday's 5k Championship race.
