CLAREMONT, CA — Pomona-Pitzer's Women's Track and Field team made a strong effort at the CMS Rossi Relays on Saturday.
 
The Pomona-Pitzer "A" team placed 4th in the 4000 Distance Medley Relay with a time of 12:18.13. The team consisting of Novy-Hildesley, Binstadt, Root, and Avey finished behind California Baptist who took third with 12:02.13. The Pomona-Pitzer "B" team followed, placing 13th with a time of 12:54.4.
 
In the field events, Felicia Akinde placed 14th in the Triple Jump with 33'11.5" and Ellie Chi followed, placing 18th with 32'9.5". Elsa Brandt placed 16th in the High Jump with a height of 4'10.5".

Up Next: Pomona-Pitzer will host and compete in the SCIAC Quad Meet on Saturday, March 7th, starting at 10:00 a.m. PT.
