CLAREMONT, Ca. – The Pomona-Pitzer women's track and field team performed well in their home PP Invite on Saturday. The Sagehens will be back in action Apr. 13-15 as they compete at the Mt. Sac Relays, Bryan Clay Invite, and a multi dual at Occidental College.
The 4 x 100m relay team of Morgane Monjauze, Jazzmin Duncan, Lillie Minskoff, and Katriona Kirkpatrick took fifth place with a time of 51.54 seconds. In the 100m, Kirkpatrick led the way for the Sagehens with a time of 12.88 seconds with Minskoff running a time of 13.46 seconds. Jenna Lange led the way for the Sagehens in the 1500m with a ninth place finish after cross the line in 4:44.97. Mira Terdiman finished closely behind with a time of 4:46.78. Genevieve DiBari also turned in a sub-5:00 minute time with a 4:59.80. In the 400m, Olivia Reichle took 16th with a time of 1:01.76 with Kheli Phillips and Olivia Richards running 1:03.16 and 1:05.26. In the 800m, Michaela Jones took 14th with a time of 2:23.54 while Rhea Braganza ran 2:23.97 to take 17th. In the 200m, Kirkpatrick took 15th with a time of 26.27 seconds with Reichle taking 30th in 27.42s. In the 5k, Katie Cline took first with a time of 18:21.36 with Alex Emerson took 6th with a time of 18:52.64. In the 400m hurdles, Nicole Player took sixth with a time of 1:09.58 with Laura Wiederspahn taking ninth in 1:12.54. In the 4 x 400m relay, Reia Li, McKayla Proulx, Rhea Braganza, and Olivia Reichle took sixth with a time of 4:12.14.
In the high jump, Natalia Cossio took 12th with a jump 1.40m with Ella Bowers and Nathalie Espinoza taking 14th and 17th with jumps of 1.35m and 1.30m. Bowers led the Sagehens in long jump and triple jump with jumps of 5.03m and 10.66m. Khairat Raji also showed well in the long jump and triple jump with jumps of 4.71m and 10.28m. In discus, Zoey Joshlin threw 26.84m to take 16th. Joshlin also showed well in the hammer, throwing 28.34m. In the javelin, Logan Spoonemore took sixth with a throw 35.36m while Brianna Huynh took 13th with a 30.15m.
