LOS ANGELES, Ca. – The Pomona-Pitzer women's track and field team defeated Caltech 119-20 while falling to CMS 109-50 in the SCIAC Multi Dual 2. The Sagehens will return to Strehle track on Apr. 8 when they host the PP Invite.
In the 100m, Tene Ariyo took fourth overall with a time of 12.75 seconds while Katriona Kirkpatrick took fifth after crossing the line in 12.87 seconds. In the 200m, Lillie Minskoff, Olivia Richards, and Jazzmin Duncan took 14th, 15th, and 16th as the trio finished the race in 27.64s, 27.79s, and 27.85s, respectively. In the 400m, Olivia Reichle took sixth with a time of 1:01.89 with Reia Li taking seventh in 1:02.41. In the 800m, Natalie Sokol-Snyder took 10th with a time of 2:33.60 with Kheli Phillips taking 11th in 2:33.74. Abigail Loiselle turned in a stellar performance for Pomona-Pitzer in the 1500m, winning the event with a time of 4:44.52. Mira Terdiman took sixth with a time of 4:53.43 while Isabel Burger took 13th in 5:00.95.
In the 5k, Genevieve DiBari won the event with a time of 18:22.87 with Katie Cline taking third after crossing the line in 18:44.43. In the 400m hurdles, Nicole Player took seventh in 1:13.03 while Laura Wiederspahn took eighth with a time of 1:15.20. Chloe Connolly took third in the steeplechase with a time of 12:28.19. In the 4 x 100m relay, Reia Li, Olivia Richards, Tene Ariyo, and Katriona Kirkpatrick took third with a time of 50.14 seconds. In the 4 x 400m relay, Izzy Sabatino, Genevieve DiBari, Katie Cline, and Rhea Braganza combined for a time of 4:20.03.
In the high jump, Ariyo took fourth after clearing 1.50m with Natalia Cossio taking ninth with a jump of 1.40m. Ella Bowers win the long jump and triple jump with marks of 4.95m and 11.03m. Khairat Raji took third in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump with marks of 4.91m and 10.42m Nicole Player took fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 10.10m. Sara Anderson won the discus with a throw of 34.48m with Zoey Joshlin taking 10th with a mark of 25.96m. Anderson and Joshlin also showed well in the hammer with Anderson taking fifth with a 33.64m throw with Joshlin in ninth after throwing 27.27m. Brianna Huynh took seventh in the javelin after throwing 25.78m.
