SAN DIEGO, Ca. – The Pomona-Pitzer women's track and field team competed in the 15th Annual PLNU Track & Field Invitational on Saturday. The Sagehens will be back in action on Apr. 1 when they travel to Occidental for a multi dual starting at 10:00 a.m.
In the 400m, Olivia Reichle took 21st with a time of 1:01.88. In the 100m, Morgane Monjauze ran a 13.77 second race. In the 400m hurdles, Nicole Player and Laura Wiederspahn represented the Sagehens, running 1:12.97 and 1:14.14. In the 200m, Olivia Reichle and Tene Ariyo ran 27.15s and 27.16 to take 19th and 20th.
In the hammer, Sara Anderson finished in 10th with a throw of 33.96m with Zoey Joshlin also showing well, throwing 27.71m. Anderson and Joshlin also competed in the discus with Anderson throwing 33.31m to take sixth while Joshlin threw 21.95m. In the javelin, Logan Spoonemore threw 32.86m to take fifth with Brianna Huynh throwing 29.82m to take ninth. In the high jump, Tene Ariyo took fourth with a jump of 1.55m. Ella Bowers recorded a 4.85m jump in long jump to take 10th place. Khairat Raji took sixth in the triple jump with a 10.68m mark.
