CLAREMONT, Ca. – The Pomona-Pitzer men's track and field team went across the street to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps for the 24th Annual Rossi Relays. The Sagehens put up four top-eight finishes on the day with Daniel Rosen and Ethan Widlansky taking third and fourth in the 3,000m, running 8:29.80 and 8:32.69, respectively.
In The Results
The Sagehens had three runners go sub 11.50 seconds in the 100m with Daniel Tamkin leading the way with an 11.18, good for 15th place. Nick Marsano took 20th with a time of 11.30 seconds while Alexander Bartone finished in 30th place with a time of 11.47 seconds.
As mentioned, the Sagehens had Daniel Rosen take third in the 3,000m, coming through the line in 8:29.80 while Ethan Widlansky took fourth with a time of 8:32.69. Pomona-Pitzer also had seven other runners go sub-nine with Ethan Ashby and Hugo Ward battling to the line in 8:40.46 and 8:40.55, taking 14th and 15th, respectively.
In the 400m hurdles, Sam Arnot led the way for Pomona-Pitzer, finishing in 12th place with a time of 58.53 while Brady Anderson took 14th with a time of 58.87 seconds. Rounding out the Sagehens' performance in the event was Jon Liu, who finished in 17th place with a time of 1:00.35.
The Sagehens' 4x400m relay team of Emil Adams, Patrick Schloesser, Angel Daniel-Morales, and Alexander Bartone combined for a time of 3:27.49 to take 11th place. In the 4x800m relay, Kellen Browning, Ian Emlet, Carter Floyd, and Lucas Cunningham combined for a 7:56.48 finish to take second place.
Lucas White Moon was the lone Sagehen to jump over six meters in the long jump, hitting a mark of 6.17m to take 14th place. White Moon also led the way for the Sagehens in triple jump, finishing the day in fifth place with a jump of 13.33m.
Adam Camargo hit a mark of 12.68m in the shot put to take 18th place while Warren Hosseinion threw 12.47m to take 20th. Hosseinion threw 40.33m in hammer to take 17th place as well. Mohammed Ahmed hit a mark of 38.55m to take 20th place.

The Sagehens will return to the track on Mar. 7 at 10:00 a.m. when they host Redlands, La Verne, and Cal Lutheran.
