REDLANDS, CA — Pomona-Pitzer's Men's Track and Field team put up a good effort at the Redlands Invitational Meet on Friday.
Pomona-Pitzer placed 8th in the 4x100-meter Relay with a time of 43.73. The team consisted of Barbieri, Satran, Butler, and Yen, and finished behind La Verne who took 7th with a time of 43.28.
Harrison Brown took 15th place in the 400-meter Dash with a time of 50.59, and
Ezra Satran earned 15th in the 100-meter Dash with 10.72.
Pherell Washington earned 16th in the 110 Hurdles with 16.52 seconds, and Caron Knautz followed in 20th with a time of 19.12.
Nicolas Barbieri placed 24th in the 200-meter Dash with 22.44 and Sam Butler earned 32nd with a time of 22.68.
William Marquart took first place in the Shot Put with a mark of 55'10.5" and 8th in the Discus with 142'5". Marquart also placed 11th in the Javelin with 151'7" and 21st in the Hammer with 123'9".
Ezra Satran earned 8th in the Long Jump with 21'10", and
Matthew Yen followed in 11th with 21'8.
Euan Kang took 9th in the Tripple Jump with 39'6".
