Men's Track and Field Competitive at Rossi Relays

CLAREMONT, CA — Pomona-Pitzer's Men's Track and Field team took part in the CMS Rossi Relays on Saturday.
 
Pomona-Pitzer placed fourth in the 4000 Distance Medley Relay with a time of 10:02.84. The team consisting of Wright, Butler, Bard, and Neid finished behind California Baptist who took third with 9:57.37.  Pomona-Pitzer also placed twelfth in the 800 Sprint Medley Relay with 1:37.27. The team of Williams, Washington, Kloske, and Charkoudian-Rogers, finished behind Cal St. Los Angeles who took eleventh with 1:36.79.
 
William Marquart took first in the Shot Put with 55'3.75", fourth in the Javelin Throw with 187'10", and sixth in the Discus with a heave of 151'7". Marquart also placed sixteenth in the Hammer Throw with 147'2". John Goodwin also took thirteenth in the Javelin with 148'9". Matthew Yen took twelfth in the Long Jump with 21'8.25".
