Sagehens Fall To No. 3 USC In Hawaii

Honolulu, Hawaii - The Pomona-Pitzer Women's Water Polo team dropped a 22-3 decision to No. 3 USC on the first day of its Spring Break trip to Hawaii.

The loss snaps a seven-game win streak for the Sagehens, who fall to 9-7 on the season. USC improves to 16-2 overall on the year with the win.

USC was able to pull away from there, though, with a 9-0 second quarter to take a 13-1 lead into the half. Monica Vavic scored a game-high five goals to lead USC.

The Sagehens will next play an exhibition game against the Brazil National Team on Friday before facing the host Rainbow Wahine on Saturday.
