CLAREMONT, Calif. — Mia Amberger and Ayva Magna of the Pomona-Pitzer women's water polo team earned Division III Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators.
 
The CSC Academic All-District and All-America Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and in the classroom. Nomination for the award requires meeting minimum standards of both athletic participation and cumulative grade point average. 
 
Amberger and Magna were key players on a Sagehen team that won its fifth consecutive Division III USA Water Polo National Championship and SCIAC Regular Season Championship. Pomona-Pitzer defeated Sixth Street Rival CMS in the national title game, 15-10.
