At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his first season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swimming and Diving team, where he competes in the IM and butterfly, as well as the distance freestyle…Ranks seventh in school history in the 200 fly with a 1:54.31...2014-15: Qualified for the finals at the SCIAC Championships in the 200 fly with a 1:54.31, ranking him seventh in school history, earning a seventh-place finish...Earned a 13th place finish at SCIACs in the 500 free with a 4:46.51...Came in 16th in the 100 fly with a 52.49, winning a swim-off for the last spot in the consolation heat...High School: Attended Palisades Charter High School, where he was a member of the swimming and water polo teams…Earned MVP of the swimming team in 2012 and 2014…Palisidian Post Athlete of the Year recipient…Cal Hofitzer Memorial Award recipient…Earned Seal Bearer award (top 10 percent of class)…Also swam for Westside Aquatics…Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he majors in philosophy, politics and economics…Has one sister…Hobbies include surfing, building random things and relaxing…Lone Survivor is his favorite book and Zoolander is his favorite movie…Hopes to attend law school after graduation…Served on a youth philanthropic board at his synagogue, vice president of the Heal the Bay Club, and treasurer of the Green Youth Movement…Was featured in a photo with Ryan Lochte and Amanda Beard on the cover page of usaswimming.org in eighth grade…Chose Pomona for “a combination of amazing academics, a DIII athletic experience, and inability to move anywhere cold.”
