At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his first season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men's Swimming and Diving team, after playing for the Water Polo team in the fall.

High School: Atteneded John Burroughs High School in St. Louis, where he was a four-year member of the water polo team...Scored 83 goals and added 18 assists as a senior after beginning the year as a goale, tallying a 10-2 record and a 4.64 goals against average...Named league's Defensive Player of the Year...First team all-conference and second-team all-district..Helped Bombers to a 24-3 record.
