Biography

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his senior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swimming and Diving team, where he competed in the short distance butterfly and freestyle events…Part of school records in the 200 and 400 free relay...Ranks fifth in school history in the 50 free (21.29)...2014-15: All-SCIAC (200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay)...Helped the Sagehens to two second-place finishes in school record times in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays (1:22.60 and 3:04.38) respectively at the SCIAC Championships...Won the consolation heat in the 50 free with a 21.29, finsihing tenth and moving into fifth on Pomona-Pitzer's all-time list...Also came in 11th in the 100 fly with a 52.00 and 14th in the 100 free with a 47.42...2013-14: All-SCIAC (200 freestyle relay)...Helped set a Pomona-Pitzer record in the 200 freestyle relay at SCIAC Championships with a 1:24.39, earning a second-place finish...Finished 20th at SCIAC Championships in the 50 free (21.94)...Also finished 11th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.95...2012-13: Part of a school-record performance in the 200-medley relay at SCIAC Championships, swimming the freestyle leg to help the Sagehens finish with a 1:34.69...Also swam a 21.67 in the 50 free, just outside of the school's all-time top 10 list...High School: Attended the American Embassy School in New Delhi, India, where he competed on the basketball and swimming teams…Named school’s best all-around athlete as a senior…Served as swim team captain as a senior, leading the Falcons to the South Asian Inter-Scholastic championships as a junior and senior…Won six gold medals in the conference swim meet as a senior, breaking five school records and five conference records…Served as a basketball captain as well, leading his team to three straight conference titles and earning all-conference and team MVP accolades as a senior…Chosen to Computer Honor Society…Personal: Attending Pitzer College, where he majors in management engineering...Lists "Heroic Deviance" as the most interesting course he has taken while at Pitzer...Has two brothers and one sister…Born in Stavanger, Norway.
