At Pomona-Pitzer: Entering her first season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Volleyball team, where she will be a setter…Also will play for the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Tennis team in the spring.

High School: Attended Middletown High School, where she played volleyball and tennis…Earned All-County honors after tallying 353 assists and 124 digs as a senior…Earned Athletic Scholar honors…Class valedictorian…National Hispanic Recognition Program honoree…Also played volleyball for Club 29.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where she plans to major in either microbiology or chemistry and minor in theatre…Has two sisters…Older sister, Andrea, graduated from Pomona in 2015...Hobbies include hiking, swimming, Segway-ing, baking, piano, acting, Sudoku, collecting pressed pennies and traveling…Favorite books include anything by Jodi Picoult, Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris, the A Voice in the Wind series by Francine Rivers, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling (“and I love Shonda Rhimes)…Favorite movies include My Life as a Dog, Howl’s Moving Castle, Cinema Paradiso, The Avengers, Fast and Furious (especially the fifth one), and Spirited Away…Favorite athletes include Natalia Malaga, Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova…Plans to addend medical school.
