At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed her senior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Swimming and Diving team, where she competes in the distance events...2014-15: SCIAC All-Academic team...2013-14: SCIAC All-Academic team...2012-13: SCIAC All-Academic team selection...Came in 14th place in the 1650-yard freestyle at the SCIAC Championships, setting a personal best with an 18:34.50...2011-12: Swam the 1650 free for the Sagehens in the SCIAC Championships, recording a final time of 19:48.27...High School: Attended Presentation High School in San Jose, where she competed for the Panthers swimming team...Earned Most Inspirational Award in 2011...Also competed for the DACA swim club (De Anza Cupertino Aquatics)...Personal: Attending Pitzer College, where she majors in environmental analysis with a minor in whale studies...Is particularly interested in marine ecology...Has one brother...Competed in the summer (2014) at the Southern Pacific Masters Swimming championships in Santa Barbara, earning a first place finish, two second place finishes and two third place finishes...Is training for the Half Ironman Competition in Kona next May...Is involved in extracurricular activities at Pitzer with The Art of Coffee, the Marine Ecology Lab, and as an environmental science TA.
