Biography

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed her junior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Swimming and Diving team, where she swims primarily in the individual medley and the backstroke…School record holder in the 400 IM (4:31.08), an event in which she won two straight SCIAC championships as a freshman and sophomore (setting a meet record with a 4:31.08 as a sophomore)... Also ranks second in the 200 IM (2:08.58), fifth in the 200 back (2:06.52) and tenth in the 100 back (1:00.29).

2014-15: SCIAC All-Academic team...Was hampered by an injury, but still finished fifth in the SCIAC Championships in the 200 IM with a 2:09.97...Did not compete in the 400 IM at SCIACs, leaving her unable to defend her back-to-back titles...Qualified for finals in the 100 back and 200 back and finished seventh in both events with a 1:00.29 and 2:08.79, respectively.

2013-14: SCIAC Champion in 400 IM...CSCAA Scholar All-America team honorable mention...Won the SCIAC 400 IM title with a school record 4:31.08, winning by 2.73 seconds...Also was fifth in the 200 IM with a 2:08.58 and fifth in the 200 back with a 2:06.52.

2012-13: Set two school records at the SCIAC Championships...Won the SCIAC title in the 400 IM in 4:32.72, breaking a Pomona-Pitzer record that had stood since Lyn Cunliffe set it in 1985 (the longest-standing record in the program)...Also set a school record in the 200 IM with a 2:09.09, finishing third, which broke Cunliffe's mark set in 1987...Moved into third place on the school's list in the 200 back with a 2:07.65 at SCIACs, which was good for fourth place at the event.

High School: Attended St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, Oregon, where she was a member of the swimming team…Was the Mt. Hood Conference Athlete of the Year in 2011 and 2012…Finished second in the state in the 200-yard individual medley, and third in the 100-yard backstroke…A four-year scholar-athlete and a four-year Academic First honoree…Also swam for the Mt. Hood Aquatics.

Personal: Attending Pomona College, where she majors in English with a minor in chemistry...Has one brother…Favorite book is Lolita and favorite movie is American Beauty…Plans to attend medical school after graduation.
