SEWANEE, TN. – The Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens women's tennis team fell 1-4 to Wesleyan on Saturday in the Constolation Round of the ITA indoors.
Season Impact: The loss puts the Sagehens at 2-3 on the season.
Wesleyan secured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3.
In singles play, the Cardinals picked up three additional wins to reach the four-point mark. Wesleyan earned victories at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 singles to clinch the team result. Pomona-Pitzer's lone point came at No. 3 singles, where Sofia Kalyva delivered a strong 6-3, 6-2 straight-set victory. The remaining singles matches were halted once the team score was decided.
