Women's Tennis Camp

Pomona-Pitzer Women's Championship Doubles Camp
This year the camp will be co-directed by Mike Morgan, Pomona-Pitzer Head Women's Coach and Dave Schwarz the Head Coach at CMS. Both programs have risen to the top of Division 3, in one of the most unique rivalries in college tennis.  Pomona-Pitzer are the 2025 NCAA Finalists, are 2x defending SCIAC conference tournament champions and 2025 regular season champions.  CMS finished winning the team NCAA Championship in 2022, 2023 and as well in 2018, making Coach Schwarz the first coach to win championships at 2 different schools.  Coach Morgan has had players win the NCAA Doubles and Singles title and was named Coach of the year for the West Region and Conference in 2022 and 2025 and finished 2023 with Angie Zhou winning the NCAA Singles Final.

Camp Information: 

• Date: August 10, 2025
• Start Time: 8:30 am- Check-in- Pauley Tennis Complex 
  • 4 pm- Check out
• Cost: $395
• Hotel- Doubletree, Claremont, CA - All campers will bring their own food and water bottles 
• Minimum Number for Camp to Occur: 10                                                                                      

Schedule:

• 8:30-9 am- Check-in and warm-up
• 9 am-11:45am- Doubles Drills and Strategy
• 12-1:30pm- Lunch and Admissions Talk (can order lunch to courts or go and pick up own)
• 1:30-2:15- Being a great college teammate roundtable with coaches in small groups
• 2:15-4:30- Doubles Match Play
• 4:30-5- College Tennis Questions for Coaches
• 3pm-5pm- Doubles Match Play
• 5pm- Optional 5 Colleges Tour with Coaches

Refund Policy

• All refunds for a full camp at a later date are available
• Until 8/1- $320 refund
• 8/1 and after-  no refund except for credit for later camp
• Clinic will only happen if we get 10 players or more.  Full refund will be given if no camp
