LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer men's basketball fell 89-60 at Occidental College Wednesday night on the road.
Season Impact: The result puts the Sagehens at 5-8 on the season, including 1-4 in SCIAC play.
Sam Lind led the team with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including 2-of-2 from three.
Matthew Diekmann contributed nine points while
Kyle Jasper,
Charlie Hutchison,
Connor Fitzgerald and
Bryson Bryker scored seven.
Occidental got out to a quick start, leading 36-6 before Diekmann hit a jumper in the paint. The Tigers held a 57-17 at the break. Despite outscoring the Tigers 43-32 in the second half, including late triples from Fitzgerald and Jasper, Pomona-Pitzer fell 89-60.
