CLAREMONT, CA. –The Sagehens fell 0-1 to Caltech on Saturday afternoon at home.

Season Impact: With the loss, the Sagehens are now 6-1-2 overall and 2-1-1 in SCIAC play.

The Sagehens generated promising chances in the opening half. Aidan MacLennan was active early, testing the keeper with efforts in the 19' and 29' minutes, while Charles Leonard fired just over the bar in the 30'. The Sagehens and Beavers remained locked at 0-0 by the half. The second half saw continued pressure from the Sagehens. MacLennan launched another look in the 70' and forced a strong save in the 84'.  Jasper Broad came up clutch once more with a diving stop in the 89', keeping the Sagehens within reach. Caltech, however, broke through in the 84' minute and held on for the 1-0 victory.
