Men's Water Polo Defeats Cal Lutheran on the Road

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer men's water polo remained unbeaten in SCIAC play with a 12-8 road win over Cal Lutheran Wednesday afternoon. 
 
Season Impact: The win puts the Sagehens at 16-12 on the season, including 10-0 in conference action. 
 
Indigo Lee, Chase Barman, Conrad Hugar and Logan Colman paced Pomona-Pitzer offensively with two goals apiece. Greg Moore posted eight saves in goal to go with two steals and an assist. 
 
The Kingsmen opened the scoring before goals from Hugar, Jake Lee and Barman made it 3-1 Sagehens at the end of the first. Teams then traded scores in the second, as Indigo Lee scored on a powerplay to give Pomona-Pitzer a 7-4 lead at the half. 
 
Hugar opened the third period with a goal before Darragh Flanders scored from the penalty spot. Colman added one with 2:40 on the clock to make it 10-5 heading into the fourth. Barman and Lee added scores in the final period as the Sagehens came away with the 12-8 victory. 
 
Up Next: Pomona-Pitzer will take on Chapman next Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 7:00 p.m. PT on the road.
