CLAREMONT, CA.- The Sagehens battled to a 2-2 draw against Redlands on Wednesday night at home. 

Season Impact: With the tie, the Sagehens are now 7-1-3 overall and 2-1-2 in SCIAC play.

The Sagehens came out firing, wasting no time to grab control of the match. In the 7' minute, Alex Greenstein opened the scoring, finishing off a corner opportunity to give the Sagehens an early 1-0 lead. The pressure continued with quality chances from Seb Lee Jara, Townes Richardson, and Guy Fuchs, forcing multiple saves from the Redlands keeper. The Sagehens doubled their advantage in the 33' minute when Niclas Ulrich found the back of the net, putting the Sagehens up 2-0. Pomona-Pitzer carried that lead into halftime.

Redlands began to find chances in the second half, but Jasper Broad came up with several crucial saves to preserve the lead. Despite the strong defensive shape, the Bulldogs broke through in the 81' minute to make it 2-1, then equalized in the 89' minute off a corner kick. The final minutes saw the Sagehens push forward for the winner, but the match ended level at 2-2.
