Pomona-Pitzer 5, George Fox 1
The first inning was scoreless for both team but the Sagehens got to work in the second inning with Natalie Murguia getting things going with a single to third base. Lauren Ziment delivered a two-out bomb off the scoreboard in left field to give the Sagehens an early 2-0 lead.

The Bruins were able to answer in the third inning with a solo home run to cut the Sagehens lead to 2-1. In the fourth inning, Murguia got things going again for the Sagehens with a single to second base before advancing to second on a sacrifice bunt from Morgan Groves. Lauren Ziment delivered in another two-out situation, this time hitting an RBI single to bring in Murguia and make it 3-1 in favor of Pomona-Pitzer.

The Sagehens added some insurance runs in the fifth inning with Bella Carreon earning a walk before Kylie Liu hit a two-run home run over the left field wall to make it 5-1. The Bruins went down in order in the fifth, recorded one hit in the sixth before going down in order with two strikeouts and a lineout. Pomona-Pitzer 6, George Fox 4
The Sagehens wasted no time in game two as they scored early with Devin Waddell crossing home plate in the first inning thanks to an RBI double from Kylie Liu. Lauren Ziment kept the bats going, hitting her second home run of the day over the left field wall to give Pomona-Pitzer a 3-0 lead in the first inning.

George Fox countered with an RBI single to left field to cut the lead to 3-1 in the second inning before the game ran scoreless through the fifth inning. In the sixth inning, the Sagehens added an insurance run after a fielding error in left field brought Lauren Ziment home with Morgan Groves earning the RBI single on the play, giving Pomona-Pitzer 4-1.

George Fox was quiet in the bottom of the sixth but extended the contest in the bottom of the seventh with four hits and three runs to tie things at 4-4. Devin Waddell started the inning pitching and after two hits by George Fox the Sagehens brought in Victoria Hadley hoping for a save. An RBI double to center made it 4-2 before the Bruins scored two runs on a single to left field to tie things at 4-4. With the game tied, the Sagehens brought Waddell back in to pitch to hold off the surging Bruins. Waddell's defense supported her as Claire Sefkow turned a double play with Brooke Bullis after fielding a hard ground ball, tagging the runner before making the throw over to first in time for two outs. Tough pitching from Waddell resulted in a pop up to Bella Carreon, sending the game to extra innings.

Both teams went scoreless through the ninth inning with both the Sagehens and Bruins earning one hit but neither team could cross home plate as we went to the 10th inning. After a pop up to start the inning, Devin Waddell got things going for the Sagehens with a double to left field to spark some energy into the Sagehens dugout. Bella Carreon singled to center to move Waddell to third before Brooke Bullis recorded an RBI groundout to second, moving Carreon to second with Waddell scoring the go ahead run to make it 5-4. Kylie Liu stepped up and hit an RBI triple to right field for the insurance run, bring Carreon home to give the Sagehens a 6-4 advantage. George Fox went down in order in the bottom of the tenth with Waddell striking out the first batter before forcing a pop up and line out to seal the 6-4 10 inning victory for the Sagehens.
