CLAREMONT, CA. – The No. 18 Pomona-Pitzer Women's Soccer team drew to Occidental 1-1 on to end their regular season on Wednesday afternoon at the Pomona-Pitzer Soccer Field.
Season Impact: With the draw, the Sagehens ended the regular season unbeaten for the first time in program history with a 13-0-3 overall record and a 9-0-3 SCIAC mark. Because of Cal Lutheran's draw against CMS, the Sagehens have at least claimed a share of the SCIAC Regular Season Title with a chance to win the title outright with a loss or draw from Cal Lutheran this upcoming weekend.

Vivian Rojas Collins who netted the only goal of the game for Pomona-Pitzer in the draw.
A very even game between the Tigers and Sagehens with a lot on the line for both teams as the Sagehens looked to clinch the SCIAC Regular Season Title with a win and Occidental fighting for a berth into the SCIAC Tournament.
Occidental and Pomona-Pitzer were very even on shots with 11 for Occidental and 10 for the Sagehens, six of those were on target for the Sagehens with five for oxy and each team had five corners.
Occidental pressed the entire match against Pomona-Pitzer, but the Sagehens still managed to get some decent opportunities on offense. The Sagehens controlled possession for the majority of the first half but couldn't find a go-ahead goal as the two teams stayed even at 0-0 heading into halftime.
As the game went on, both teams became more desperate for a goal as the game began to open up a bit on offense. The Sagehens finally broke through with the game's first goal of the day as Rojas Collins finished off a corner to put the Sagehens up 1-0 in the 85
th minute.
However, Occidental threw everything against the wall on offense and came away with a few corner chances late. Needing a goal to draw, the Tigers put everyone in the box and converted a corner of their own as Occidental even the game in the 88
th minute to give the Sagehens only their third draw of the season.
