CLAREMONT, CA. – The No. 10 Pomona-Pitzer Men's Tennis team fell to No. 6 Williams 6-3 on Friday afternoon at the Pauley Tennis Complex.
Season Impact: With the loss, the Sagehens fall to 7-7 overall.
The Sagehens lost two of the first three doubles matches to start out against the Ephs. The No. 2 doubles team of Mukund Madabhushi and Nils Skattum got the sole doubles win for the Sagehens by the score of 8-4 while the Sagehens lost two battles at doubles No. 1 and 2 by the scores of 84- and 8-5.
Pomona-Pitzer went on to take two singles matches against Williams at the No. 5 and No. 3 spots. Jansen Comadena earned a win at No. 5 as he defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-2 and Kush Patel won at No. 3 singles by the scores of 6-2, 6-0.
