DALLAS, Texas. – The Sagehens closed their weekend in Dallas with a 6-3 loss to the Trinity (Tx.) Tigers. Mukund Madabhushi and Nils Skattum highlighted the Sagehens' efforts in doubles, earning a 8-5 win while Jed Kronenberg and Hayden Snyder shined in singles play for Pomona-Pitzer.
Doubles Results
As mentioned, Madabhushi and Nils Skattum were the lone Sagehens to pick up a victory in doubles, earning the 8-5 victory. Hayden Snyder and Jed Kronenberg fell 8-4 against the Tigers while Charlie Stark and Avery Bicks fell 8-4 in their match.
Singles Results
Jed Kronenberg made quick work of his match, winning the first set 6-1 and taking the second 6-0. Mukund Madabhushi had a good battle in the first set but lost 7-5 before ending the match with a 6-2 second set loss.
Charlie Stark dropped his match with a 6-2 loss in the first set and a 6-0 loss in the second match. Hayden Snyder picked up a win for the Sagehens in his match, taking the first set 6-2, dropping set two 6-4, and battling in set three to win 7-5. Avery Bicks lost his match 6-0 and 6-1 while Jack Weiler lost in three sets, picking up a set two 6-1 victory.

The Sagehens are back in action on Feb. 29 at 10:00 a.m. when they host Washington and Lee. Pomona-Pitzer will also host Cal Lutheran at 3:00 p.m. that afternoon.
