At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed her first season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Tennis team…2014: ITA Scholar-Athlete selection...Was a regular in the starting lineup at No. 5-6 singles and No. 2-3 doubles...Finished the year 9-8 in singles and 12-8 in doubles...Had a key three-set win in a victory over No. 7 Bowdoin...Had the clinching win to help the Sagehens to a 5-4 victory over Redlands at the ITA Nationals...Picked up doubles wins against No. 4 Amherst and No. 6 Middlebury...High School: Attended the Thomas Jefferson School in St. Louis, where she was a member of the tennis team…Won the 2012 G18 Missouri Valley St. Louis Sportsmanship Award…Achieved a top 20 Missouri Valley ranking in G12, G14 and G18…Earned high honors from 7th through 12th grade, maintaining a 3.99 GPA…Named an Acworth Scholar, awarded by the Acworth Foundation to two academically gifted high school students…Personal: Attends Pomona College…Hobbies include knitting and riding motorcycles with her dad…Favorite athletes are Roger Federer and Alex Pietrangelo of the St. Louis Blues…Favorite books include The Count of Monte Cristo (“and I love the Oxford Book of Essays”)…Favorite movies include “any good romcom. The people here are so welcoming (the tennis team especially gave me a hearty welcoming when I visited in the spring). I found a community where I can go to a professor or fellow student and discuss anything. I had found a diverse group of people seeking a mutually respectful learning environment. Not a chance I was going to turn it down!”
