Biography

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed her junior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Soccer team, where she plays goalkeeper.

2014: SCIAC All-Academic team...Played in all 20 games, including 19 starts...Had a 1.01 goals against average and a .765 save percentage...Had 65 saves on the year...Had two big saves in a 0-0 road tie at Redlands, a diving stop with one second left in regulation and a sliding save on a breakaway in the closing second of the second overtime, finishing with a season-high seven saves...Had six saves in a 1-0 shutout win over Occidental...Had three saves in a 2-0 win over first-place CMS in the regular season finale.

2013: SCIAC All-Academic team...Played in seven games, including six starts...Tallied an 0.79 goals against average, an .800 save percentage, and a 5-0-1 record...Had four saves in a 1-0 shutout win over La Verne, and two saves in a shutout over Willamette...Had four saves in a 4-1 win over La Verne in the rematch, losing a shutout on a goal with 20 seconds left in regulation...Had four saves in a 1-0 shutout win over Whittier.

2012: Started the first eight games of the year before being lost for the season with a knee injury...Tallied 22 saves and a 1.27 goals against average...Had seven saves in a 1-1 overtime tie with Redlands, before suffering her season-ending injury in the first extra session...Had four saves in a 1-0 overtime loss against CMS, before taking the hard-luck defeat on an own goal.

High School: Attended Mission Viejo High School in California, where she was a member of the soccer and track teams…Was a four-year letter winner and a senior year captain…Earned the Spirit of the Diablo Award from her school as a senior…Helped the Diablos to a CIF Division 1 quarterfinals appearance as a senior, as well as a South Coast League championships as a sophomore and an Excalibur championship as a junior…Helped the 4x400 relay team to a runner-up finish in the South Coast League as a sophomore…A four-year Scholar-Athlete Award winner…A National Honors Society member and a CSF Lifetime member…Was on the principal honor roll all four years…Also played club soccer for the Laguna Hills Eclipse, which she helped to an Albion Cup Championship in 2009.

Personal: Attending Pomona College, where she majors in neuroscience…Lists "Child Psychology" as the most interesting course she has taken at Pomona...Has one brother…Father, Terry, was a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Football team, graduating from Pomona in 1977…Uncle, Tim, is also a Pomona graduate…Hobbies include baking, running and going to the beach…Lists Tim Howard (U.S. Men’s National team goalkeeper) as her favorite athlete…Tuesdays with Morrie is her favorite book…Plans to attend medical school after graduation…Studied abroad in London in the spring of 2015...Has twice traveled to Haiti for community service activities (in the summers of 2010 and 2011)…Chose Pomona because “Pomona has top academics, and the small class sizes allow students to have personal interactions with their teachers.
