Pomona-Pitzer Athletics

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed her senior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Lacrosse team, where she played midfield and defense.

2015: SCIAC All-Academic team...IWLCA Academic Honor Roll selection...Started all 19 games on defense, helping the Sagehens to the top goals against average in the SCIAC...Totaled 17 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers...Caused four turnovers in a win over New Paltz and two in an NCAA Tournament win over Occidental...Scored in a goal in a regular season win over Occidental, when she played in the midfield.

2014: SCIAC All-Academic team...Started all 21 games...Played a defensive role most of the season...Had five goals and three assists...Scored in the SCIAC Championship game and in an NCAA Tournament loss to Redlands...Added a goal in a 14-13 regular season win over Redlands which clinched the top seed in the SCIAC Tournament for the Sagehens.

2013: SCIAC All-Academic team...Started all 19 games...Tallied 17 goals and seven assists on the year...Also had 23 goals and 15 caused turnovers...Scored a season-high four goals in a win over Whittier...Had two goals and two assists in a win over Berry...Had a hat trick (scoring three of her team's five goals) in a loss to Redlands...Had a goal and three assists in a win over Puget Sound.

2012: Did not play due to injury.

High School: Attended Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she was a member of the Firebirds lacrosse team...Earned team's top midfielder honor in 2011...Named to the Southwest Regional team in 2009 and 2010...Helped the Firebirds to two Arizona state championships in 2010 and 2011, as well as an undefeated record in 2010...A National Honors Society member after graduating in the top five percent of her class...Also played for the Desert Heat club team.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where she majors in biology with a minor in Spanish...Spent the summer (2014) working as an environmental educator at Penn State's Environmental Center...Participated in the first Arizona indoor lacrosse league in the summer of 2012, and also served as an assistant coach for a club lacrosse team...Plans to pursue a career in environmental education and high school education...Chose Pomona "for its intimate class sizes, it’s proximity to the other four Claremont Colleges, and to have the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love while prioritizing my education."
