Eisenberg previously was the first coach for the Chapman University Panthers (2009 – 14), leading that team to a winning record in the inaugural year of women’s lacrosse at Chapman which earned him Western Women’s Lacrosse League (WWLL) Division II Coach of the Year honors in 2009. In 2011, Eisenberg’s third season as head coach, the team went undefeated (17 – 0) to win Division II regional (WWLL) and national (WCLA) championships which earned him 2011 Coach of the Year for both the WWLL and WCLA Division II. In spring 2013, the Panthers joined the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and competed at the NCAA Division III level, where they finished 14 – 5 and second in the conference, just missing the NCAA playoffs.
Brian has also coached / directed youth and high school lacrosse in Orange County, focusing on areas that are not already served and growing the game. He is currently in his second year as the Head Coach at Huntington Beach High School, were in the program’s inaugural season 2023, the team won the CIFSS D3 championship and moved all the way to CIFSS DI for 2024. Brian also runs a 501c3 Non-Profit, OC Lacrosse, focused on growing the game, and was a founder of Alliance Lacrosse club, focused on having players from Southern CA to compete nationally.
In addition to coaching, Eisenberg has also had the opportunity to work as a team manager with two local professional lacrosse teams, the Anaheim Storm 2004 – 05 (indoor) and the L.A. Riptide 2006 – 08 (outdoor). A Type 1 (Juvenile) Diabetic, from Baltimore, Md., did not let that hold him back from playing sports. A three-sport athlete in high school (ice hockey, soccer and lacrosse), he played both men’s soccer and lacrosse at Chapman University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in May, 1999. Eisenberg earned his Master of Arts in Leadership Development at Chapman University in December 2015. In his free time, he loves spending time with his two kids (14 and 11), meditating, and listening to music.
