Pomona-Pitzer Athletics

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his second season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swimming and Diving team, where he competes in the distance events...Holds the school record in the 500 free (9:42.85)...Ranks second in Pomona-Pitzer history in the 500 free (4:38.28) and third in the 1650 (16:14.61)...Also plays for the Pomona-Pitzer Men's Water Polo team in the fall.

2015-16: SCIAC All-Academic team.

2014-15: SCIAC All-Academic team...CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American...Came in fourth in the 1650 at SCIAC Championships with a 16:14.90, coming within .32 of third...Also finished seventh in the 500 free after qualifying for finals, clocking a 4:38.28, the second-best time in program history...Earned a school record in the 1000 during the regular season with a 9:42.85.

2013-14: All-SCIAC in the 1650...Earned a third-place finish at the SCIAC Championships in the 1650 with a 16:14.61, a personal best which moved him into third place in Sagehen history...Also came in sixth place in the 500 with a 4:40.90, moving him into third place in Pomona-Pitzer annals in that event as well...Finished 10th in the 200 with a 1:44.94, winning the consolation heat.

High School: Attended Westlake High School in Westlake Village, California, where he was a member of the water polo and swimming teams…Named team MVP and earned high school All-American honors…Earned scholar-athlete distinction and a California Scholarship Federation member…Also played club water polo for South Coast, helping his team earn second in the gold division for 18U Junior Olympics in 2012.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he majors in economics…Has an older sister…Lists racquetball and ultimate Frisbee among his hobbies…Relay for Life volunteer and Kiwanis educated youth member.
