At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed two seasons as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Soccer team, where he plays in the midfield (left/central)…Missed the 2014 season with an injury.
2015: Played in 14 games, including 11 starts... Had 1 point with 1 assist in a game against Caltech.
2013: Played in five games, including one start, before being lost for the year with an injury against Texas-Dallas.
High School: Attended Davis Senior High School in Davis, California, where he was a member of the soccer team…Served as a team captain…Earned all-league honors…Was team MVP as a sophomore and senior…Also played club soccer for the Davis Legacy Arsenal Boys 95, which he helped to the state finals (NorCal).
Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he majors in biology and minors in Spanish…Has an older brother, Andisheh, who played soccer for UC San Diego…Hobbies include video games, reading and hanging out with friends…Spent the summer of 2015 working on a medical publication regarding acetabular cartilage repair in adolescent athletes, shadowing and observing orthopedic surgeons in the OR, and playing for U23 Davis Legacy team...Spent the summer of 2014 as an intern for PenPal news (a company started by Pomona graduate Joe Troyen-Schwartz)...Has volunteered in the ER at UC Davis Medical Center, and plans to attend medical school after graduation...Lists Wayne Rooney as his favorite athletes…Favorite books include Invisible Man, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Native Sun and A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man.
