Jen Clark's coaching career spans decades, stretching from California to Maine and includes extensive experience from a wide range of levels, including NCAA D1, NCAA D3, high school, club, and the Olympic Development Program (ODP). With coaching stints at institutions including Stanford, Dartmouth, Middlebury, Caltech, and William & Mary, Jen brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the Sagehens Men's Soccer staff.
At the heart of Clark's coaching philosophy is ‘chosen positivity’ and a deep love for being a "teacher of the game." While she has led numerous high-level programs to tremendously successful seasons, her proudest achievements lie in building and transforming programs. As the head coach for Christopher Newport University, she famously turned a Division III program with a .313 win percentage into a .781 juggernaut with national prominence. She views every game, practice, and interaction as a learning opportunity, consistently striving for growth and excellence.
