Biography

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his final season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Basketball team...2011-12: Appeared in all 26 games for the Sagehens off the bench, averaging 3.9 points, while tallying 30 assists and only 20 turnovers in a point guard role...Had a season-high 15 points in a win over Chapman at the Redlands Lee Fulmer Tournament, when he shot 5-6 from the floor, 4-4 from the line, and had two assists, no turnovers and three steals...Scored eight points on 3-3 shooting (2-2 on threes) in a road win over Redlands...Knocked down two three-pointers in a key road win at Whittier...Scored 10 points on 4-5 shooting in a non-conference win over Dominican (Ill.)...2010-11: Played in 16 games as a junior, averaging 3.4 points per game…Finished his football career in 2010 as the school’s all-time leading receiver with 3,070 yards…Also set the single-season mark with 1219 yards in 2009, and the single-game (18), single-season (93), and career (256) records for receptions…A three-time All-SCIAC selection, a two-time team captain and two-time offensive MVP, and the John Zinda Award winner…Was a two-time national leader in receptions per game, and played in two Division III All-Star games following his senior season…Earned the National Football Foundation Hampshire Academic Honor Society Scholar-Athlete Award…Preseason All-America selection by the D3 Senior Classic…Served as the receivers coach for the Sagehens Football team this fall…High School: Attended Cheshire Academy in Connecticut, where he played basketball and football…Personal: Attending graduate school to get his MBA in finance at the Drucker School of Management…Has one sister…Earned his undergraduate degree in sociology in 2011…Lists Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Adrian Peterson and Wes Welker as his favorite athletes…Will pursue a career in banking with Merrill Lynch following completion of graduate school…Has helped set up a number of fund-raisers for the Be Perfect Foundation (a spinal cord injury foundation) on campus…Chose Pomona because “I knew I wanted to play basketball and football in college and attend a school with high academic prestige.”…Born December 22, 1988.
