2015: SCIAC All-Academic team.

At Trinity University: Played his first two seasons (2012 and 2013) at Trinity in San Antonio, Texas, where he started his last eight games as a sophomore…Threw 16 touchdowns (vs. only eight interceptions) and totaled 1,897 yards and a 61% completion percentage while playing in 28 of the 32 quarters...In week three of the 2013 season, he was named the SCAC offensive player of the week, when he threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns against Sul Ross State…Selected to the SCAC honor roll…On Dean’s list in both 2013 and 2014.

High School: Attended North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, Illinois, where he competed in football, baseball, basketball and boxing…Two-time first-team all-conference quarterback…Threw for over 3,500 yards and 54 touchdowns in his two-year career…Team captain as a senior.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he majors in economics with a minor in Chinese…Aunt, Deirdre Marie Smith (Meehan), is a Pomona (’83) graduate…Has two brothers and two sisters…Lists entrepreneurship as his hobby…Favorite book is Wins, Losses and Lessons by Lou Holtz, while favorite move is Stepbrothers…Lists Teddy Roosevelt as the public figure he most admires…Plans to pursue an MBA after graduation…Tom Brady is his favorite athlete…Co-founding a software company called nOCD designed to help people with obsessive compulsive disorder…Chose Pomona because “it offered me the chance to play football at an outstanding academic institution.”
