At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his second year as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Football team, where he plays linebacker after beginning his career as a fullback...Returning to the team in 2015 after a one-year absence...2013: SCIAC All-Academic team selection...Played in only one game before suffering an injury...Totaled seven tackles in that game (at Menlo)...2012: Saw most of his action on special teams, but did have three tackles against Redlands while playing linebacker.

High School: Attended the Iolani School in Honolulu, where he competed on the football, basketball, volleyball, track and field and paddling teams for the Raiders...National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Hawaii Chapter 242 Scholar Athlete Award winner...Also earned the Father Bray Award...Helped the Raiders to three Division II Interscholastic League of Honolulu Championships (2009, 2010, 2011) and three Division II State Champions (2009, 2010, 2011)...Was a team captain as a senior in 2011...Cum Laude Society member...Academic awards included the Dennis Onishi Award, Roy T. Morikawa Memorial Award, Top Scholar Award, Headmaster’s List Award, Northwestern Book Award.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he majors in physics, with a specific interest in materials...Spent the summer (2015) as a research assistant at MIT...Has two brothers and one sister.
