Attended Carlsbad High School where he played football, soccer and ran track and field. He earned the Ironman Award, three-time Defensive MVP Award, two-time Coaches Award. He also earned Honor Roll, 5.0 GPA Senior Year, Member of the Honor Society and California Scholarship Foundation.
