High School: Attended Maximiliansgymnasium in Munich, Germany, where he played football and was an alpine skier in ninth and 10th grade…Was Munich Cowboys U19 Team MVP in 2013 and 2014…Made Bavarian state U19 and U17 teams in 2013 and 2014…Led U19 state team to German national title in 2013 and was awarded national championship MVP…Received school’s Pro Meritis Award for outstanding contributions to the school community.

Personal: Attends Pomona College…Has two younger brothers and a younger sister…Father, Erik, played nose tackle for the University of Wisconsin…Hobbies include skiing and playing basketball…Was school president in 10th and 11th grade, and class president throughout high school…Chose Pomona “because of small class sizes, focus on undergraduate education, access to resources thanks to Claremont Consortium.”
