At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his first year as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Football team, where he is a defensive lineman...2012: Saw action in eight of nine games (missing one due to injury)...Finished the year with 27 tackles, while primarily playing as an undersized nose tackle...Had season high nine tackles against Whittier...Had a sack in his collegiate debut against Menlo...Intercepted a pass at nationally ranked Cal Lutheran...High School: Attended nearby Colony High School in Ontario, California, where he was a member of the football, wresting, track and tennis teams...An All-CIF and all-league selection...Ranked second in the league in quarterback sacks...Earned Colony's Titan Award (most prestigious student-athlete honor)...Helped the Titans to an 11-2 record and a semifinals appearance...Ranked in the top 10 in his class in GPA and earned Colony's Student-Athlete of the month numerous times...Took five AP classes...Personal: Attending Pitzer College, where he plans to major in engineering...Hobbies include playing the ukulele, guitar and piano, as well as video games, working out and Samoan Fire Dance...Has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America, church service with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) and a lot of other little community projects...Chose Pitzer for the the loving community atmosphere, it's close to home, and I like the happy/friendly/smart people here!"
