Brian Carroll is entering his tenth season with the Pomona-Pitzer football program and his eighth as offensive coordinator.
Carroll has coached three SCIAC Offensive Player of the Year recipients as offensive coordinator: Quinten Wimmer (2024), Skylar Noble (2022) and Karter Odermann (2019).Â
Prior to coaching at Pomona-Pitzer, Carroll acted as the athletic director for Winchester High School and the White Mountain Regional Schools in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, respectively. Carroll also worked as a high school football coach and teacher at Lawrence Academy and the Buckingham, Brown and Nichols School.Â
At the collegiate level, Carroll has previously served as a coach at American International College and Tufts University. At AIC, he coached the wide receivers and was a part of the 2013 Northeast-10 Conference Championship team and a Division ? playoff berth. At Tufts, he acted as the special teams coordinator and defensive ends coach, helping to elevate the Jumbos defense to the 4th ranked unit in Division ?.
Carroll received his bachelor’s from Colgate University in 1989 after lettering for the Raiders in football.
Carroll has two children, Brooke, a recent graduate at the University of Alabama, and Quinn, a recent graduate of Chelmsford High School in Massachusetts. Quinn will be attending Endicott College this fall as a student-athlete with the rugby program.
