Pomona-Pitzer Athletics

At Pomona-Pitzer: Entering his senior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Football program, where he plays defensive back…also playing for the Pomona-Pitzer Baseball team as an infielder. 

2018: SCIAC All-Academic Team.... Appeared in 29 games... hit .229 with 22 hits, 20 runs and 10 RBI.  

2017: SCIAC All-Academic Team.... Appeared in 13 games... hit .222 with 2 hits and 2 RBI.

2016: SCIAC All-Academic Team.... Appeared in 12 games... hit .276 with 8 hits, 8 runs and 4 RBI.

High School: Attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, where he played for the football and baseball teams…Earned six varsity letters…Was the captain of both the varsity and the freshman football teams…Started for the varsity for three years…Unanimous First-Team All-Bay League selection football…Football Offensive Player of the Year, after earning Defensive Player of the Year for his freshman team…Football Captains Award…PVPHS CIF Scholar Athlete of the Year…National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete…Earned invitation to South Bay All-Star Game…Also a second-team all-league selection in baseball and the team’s Offensive MVP…Nationals Honors Society and National Science Honors Society member…Also a CSF Gold Sealbearer and a Mu Alpha Theta member.

Personal: Attends Pomona College…Father, Rick, played football at Caltech…Grandmother, Lily, is the first female comic book artist…Lists Eric Berry, Dez Bryant and Derek Jeter as his favorite athletes…Favorite book is Unbroken and favorite movie is Friday Night Lights…Lists Muhammad Ali as the public figure he most admires…SSAC South Bay member and a Torrance Memorial Medical Center Volunteer…Chose Pomona “because I knew it was the best place for me to spend the next 4 years.”
