High School: Attended Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach, where he was a member of the football, baseball and basketball teams…National Football Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award winner…Helped the Sea Kings to a California State Football championship  in 2013, and to CIF Football titles in 2011, 2012 and 2013…Earned first-team all-league honors as a junior and senior…First-Team All-CIF selection…Chosen to Daily Pilot Dream Team…Earned Pacific Coast League Sportsmanship Award…CdM Defensive Lineman of the Year…AP Scholar…National Honors Society member…President of Model United Nations, Junior Statesmen of America and Speech and Debate team member at CdM High School…Earned High Honor Roll status, the National Social Studies Award,  the Principal’s Rotary Club International Award, The Seaking Pride Award, and the Principal’s Pride Award.

Personal: Attends Pitzer College where he majors in international relations and economics…Has a younger sister…Cousin, Nicole Kessler, plays volleyball at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo…Hobbies include going to the beach, playing basketball, reading and hanging with friends…Favorite athlete is Lou Gehrig…Lists Lord of the Rings as his favorite book and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy as his favorite movies…Chose Pitzer “because it is a small school that has the benefits of a big school where I can take classes at any of the 5 colleges. Also because Coach Caron and the entire coaching staff want us to be successful off the football field and throughout our careers which is extremely rare to find in college football.”
