High School: Attended Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois, where he was a member of the football and track and field (shot put and discus) teams…Earned Daily Herald Prep Sports Excellence honor…Helped his team to a 9-0 record as a sophomore…Earned All-Conference Scholar Award…First Honor Roll all eight semesters…NHS Board member…Illinois State Scholar…Earned Fermilab science award…All-Conference Scholar award recipient.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he majors in physics (pre-med) with a Spanish minor…Has a younger sister…Watership Down is his favorite book, while The Other Guys is his favorite movie…Lists Olin Kreutz and Charles Tillman as his favorite athletes…Plans to go to medical school and become a doctor…Has volunteered with Feed My Starving Children and Habitat for Humanity…Chose Pomona because “I wanted to play football and it was the best school academically where I could do that. It turns out that it is the number one school regardless.”
