Biography

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed her second season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Cross Country team…SCIAC All-Academic team.

2015: SCIAC All-Academic team... Finished in 89th place at the SCIAC Championships with a time of 29:07.08.

High School: Attended Grace Christian School in Anchorage, Alaska where she competed on the cross country, track and field, and cross country skiing teams…Helped the Grizzlies Track team to a first place finish in the state championships in 2012 and 2013…Served as a captain of the track team…Ran a 21:54 in the 5K in high school…Class valedictorian…National Merit finalist and Presidential Scholar finalist.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where she majors in neuroscience…Hobbies include cooking, baking, hiking and reading…Eric Liddell is her favorite athlete…Favorite books include almost anything by G.A. Henty, C.S. Lewis. J.R.R. Tolkien and Brian Jacques, among others…Favorite movies include Where Eagles Dare, Frozen, the Bourne series, My Fair Lady, Sound of Music and Sarah’s Key…Plans to attend medical school after graduation…Worked as a clinical care extender at Queen of the Valley Hospital (healthcare volunteer)…Chose Pomona for “the great pre-med program, close to relatives, great food…and my parents wanted some place nice to visit.”
