Pomona-Pitzer Athletics

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his third season on the Pomona-Pitzer Football team...Played on the defensive line as a freshman, but moved to linebacker as a sophomore and junior...Did not play in 2014 due to injury and will come back for his fifth (redshirt) season in 2015 as a defensive lineman while attending grad school...Also competes on the Pomona-Pitzer Track and Field team in the throws.

2014: Did not play (injured)

2013: SCIAC All-Academic team selection...Started all nine games...Ranked second on the team with 72 tackles...Had a high of 14 tackles in the season finale at CMS, while also having 12 in a home win over La Verne...Picked up a sack against Cal Lutheran...Forced a fumble against Occidental and recovered one at Menlo...Had nine tackles against MIT.

2012: SCIAC All-Academic Team selection...Started all nine games as an outside linebacker...Finished the season with 50 tackles...Had a season-high of nine tackles, which he accomplished twice, against La Verne and Redlands...Recovered a fumble against Whittier...Had two pass break-ups.

2011: Started all nine games for the Sagehens as a defensive end...Finished with 38 tackles, ranking him sixth on the team...Had three tackles for losses and one quarterback sack...Also had a pass break-up and recovered fumble...Had a season-high nine tackles in the home finale against La Verne, and also had seven tackles against Occidental...Chipped in with six tackles against nationally ranked Cal Lutheran.

High School: Attended Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado, where he competed on the football and track teams...Was a team captain as a senior, when he earned the National Football Foundation/College Football Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete Award...Named second-team All-Colorado, and first-team all-region...Led league in sacks and was second on the team in tackles as a senior...As a junior, was an honorable mention all-league and academic all-state selection, when he led the team in tackles for losses and was fourth on the team in tackles...In track, he won the Boulder-Fairview Invitational and placed sixth in the Broomfield Invitational...Maintained a 4.18 GPA in high school, won the Fairview Scholar-Athlete Award and advanced to the State Level in National History Day...Was vice president of the National Honor Society.
