At Pomona-Pitzer: Entering his first season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Football team, where he will play wide receiver...Also serves as a punter on the special teams unit...2012: Played in eight games, Saw most of his action at punter, but also got some snaps on offense...Averaged 34.0 yards a punt, with a long of 47 against La Verne, when he aveaged 43.4 yards on his five punts...Had three punts downed inside the 20 in his first collegiate game against Menlo...Caught a 14-yard pass against Chapman...High School: Attended Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon, where he played football, basketball and baseball for the Cardinals...Earned second-team all-league honors as a wide receiver, and first-team honors as a punter and placekicker...Also was an all-league outfielder in baseball...Was on the school's honor roll all four years...Personal: Attending Pomona College, where he plans to major in biology...Also played on the Portland Power Australian Rules Football team, where he was voted the team's Rookie of the Year and earned the BOG Award (Best On Ground)...Has one brother and one sister...Mother, Cindy, played on the Stanford Women's Tennis team where she won a national championship, and is now a pediatrician...Father worked in mines in Australia before going to Stanford business school and now works at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon...Personal: Hobbines include reading, movies and swimming...Favorite athletes are Tim Tebow and Joel Pryzbilla...Favorite books are Kaffir Boy, Season of Life, and Go Ask Alice...Favorite movie is Anchorman...Lists high school football coach Adam Grimes as the person he most admires...Plans to attend medical school after graduation...Fundraised to collect Nike soccer balls and deliver them to a foster home in Fez, Morocco...Has volunteered at the Portland Rescue Mission and at a low-income elderly home with his church group...Chose Pomona "because of the tight knit community and constant support you get from the community throughout your time at the school as well as the endless opportunities provided for you after graduation."
