At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed her senior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Track and Field team, where she competed in the throws (javelin, discus, hammer)...Also played one season on the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Basketball team...Ranks sixth in school history in the hammer throw (140'3") and eighth in the javelin (116'2")...2013: All-SCIAC (hammer throw, javelin)...SCIAC All-Academic team...Finished fourth in the hammer throw at SCIACs by shattering her personal best with a 140'3"...Also finsihed fourth in the javelin with a throw of 110'2"...2012: All-SCIAC (hammer throw)...Earned All-SCIAC honors in the hammer throw by recording a distance of 124'2", good for sixth place...Just missed All-SCIAC honors in javelin as well, finishing seventh with a 108'4"...High School: Attended Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut, where she competed on the soccer, basketball and track teams...Was a four-year member of the basketball team, earning captain honors and the team's Coaches Award as a senior...Beat the school record by 14 feet in the javelin as a senior (after tying the record as a junior), while also winning New Englands and leading the Wild Boars to an undefeated season...Earned team award for Excellence in Track and Field...Personal: Attending Pitzer College, where she majors in psychology with a minor in theater...Has one sister, Annie, who is a senior captain on the Pomona-Pitzer Water Polo team...Both parents are teachers at Choate Rosemary Hall (mother teaches chemistry, father teaches English)...Favorite movies include Forrest Gump, Legally Blonde, and For The Love Of The Game...Favorite book is Angels and Demons...Plans to be a teacher after graduation...Currently a mentor for Uncommon Good and a mentor and tutor for Project Caring and Sharing.
