Pomona-Pitzer Athletics

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed her junior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Softball team, where she plays in the infield at shortstop and third base.

2015: SCIAC All-Academic team...Played in 32 games, batting .254...Had a monster doubleheader against Redlands, hitting 5-for-7 with eight RBI (including a grand slam in the opener)...Was 3-for-3 with three runs scored in a win over Puget Sound...Batted 2-for-2 with an RBI against Occidental in the final home doubleheader of the season.

2014: SCIAC All-Academic Team...Played in 23 games while battling injury/illness...Was 2-for-4 in a win over Occidental.

2013: Appeared in 32 games, including 28 starts...Batted .222 on the year, while tying for second on the team with 11 RBI...Had six doubles and a home run.

High School: Attended St. Francis High School in Sacramento, where she was a member of the softball team…A second-team Delta River League selection as a senior…Also helped the Troubadors to a third-place finish in the sectional playoffs as a junior…Member of the President’s General Excellence Honor Roll…Earned certificate of honor for French, and also selected to the Le Grand Concours Certificat de Reussite…Played summer ball with the California Chaos 18 Gold team.

Personal: Attending Pomona College…Has one brother and one sister…Lists sports conditioning and dancing among her hobbies…Brian Wilson of the San Francisco Giants is her favorite athlete…Lists the Harry Potter series as her favorite books, and Fired Up and Moulin Rouge as her favorite movies…John Wooden is the public figure she most admires…Volunteered with adults with special needs for Special Olympics and softball events…Also did volunteer work at the St. John’s shelter for women and children. Chose Pomona because “I loved everything about Pomona. The professors, college community, and location are all amazing. I knew that going to Pomona would be a good choice because I could get a great education and keep playing the sport I love.”
